At ART-PV India Pvt. Ltd., we are an early-stage R&D startup developing perovskite–silicon tandem solar technology for high-efficiency and durable renewable energy solutions. We are seeking a Research Scientist with strong expertise in solar cell fabrication and characterization to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research on tandem solar cell fabrication, customization, characterization, and testing.
- Work with novel halide perovskite semiconductors for scalable tandem device development.
- Handle the team of research engineers for establishing large-area fabrication and characterization facilities.
- Set up and operate IPCE measurement systems and integrate LabVIEW/Arduino-based automation tools.
- Contribute to process optimization, ensuring repeatability and scalability for manufacturing transition.
- Support technical documentation, specifications, and assist in tendering/procurement processes for lab equipment.
- Develop and maintain weekly schedules and monthly targets, aligned with team-wide quarterly objectives.
- Mentor junior researchers and engineers, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance research culture.
Qualifications & Experience
- PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field with hands-on experience in solar cell fabrication.
- Post-doctoral research or industry experience with team management exposure
- Experience to translate research into scalable processes
Preferred Skills
- Proven expertise in tandem/perovskite solar cells including thin film deposition, device encapsulation, device integration, characterization techniques, stability testing.
- Experience with LabVIEW, Arduino, and automated measurement setups.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and procurement processes for lab equipment
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
