Lab facility glimpseART-PV India is a mission-driven dynamic startup co-founded by Prof. Dinesh Kabra of IIT Bombay, Mumbai in 2024. A proof of concept is being prepared for Tandem Solar cell technology under National Centre for Photovoltaic Research & Education (NCPRE). The technology is protected by IPs and strong fundamental knowledge gathered in academic laboratories. The startup is backed by industry partners in crystalline and thin-film technologies and NCPRE – Ministry of new and renewable energy ( MNRE).

Supporting India’s Jawaharlal Nehru Solar Mission and the goal of achieving 300 GW of solar power by 2030, ART-PV’s advanced tandem cell technology goes beyond the efficiency and performance limits of conventional solar technology. By making solar power more efficient, affordable, and accessible, we aim to create a world where all energy is green energy.

ART-PV India infrastructure includes access to ~ 5000 sqft ISO 7 Cleanroom in research park building of IIT Bombay with state of art fabrication, characterization and advanced simulation tools. ART-PV India is exposed to India’s one of the best intellectual pools and our collaboration with academia within IITB & global universities along with established industries ensures our research and development team is always on edge of current advancements for best delivery in Tandem Cell Technology.
