Job Responsibilities

Handling thin-film deposition tools and handling of glove box. Development and characterization of large area < 4 cm2 perovskite solar cells with efficiency > 20% using absorber layer bandgap 1.67 -1.7 eV. This needs to be prepared on the flat or textured silicon substrates via advanced thin-film deposition techniques which holds the promise for high throughput and scaling up (vacuum processing and/or slot-die coating). Preparing quarterly project progress report. Preparing biweekly work progress report for PI. Keeping lab-note book record updated and work efficiency as an individual and also as a team member

Qualifications

Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electronics or MTech. /BTech. In Engineering Physics, EE, MEMS, Chemical engineering or equivalent degree from a recognized university/institute.

Desirable Skills

  1. Prior experience in thin-film deposition techniques such as spin coating, thermal evaporation, sputtering, or slot-die coating.
  2. Familiarity with solar cell fabrication or device characterization.
